Linzi wins 'The Book' at Creative Writing group

I joined the Wolfville Creative Writing Group and met at the local TAN coffee house (The Alternative Network). Each meeting we covered a different aspect of creative writing with a theme eg near Halloween we wrote about a death, a horror story, taking twists and turns. It was an enjoyable challenge each time and boy oh boy did my hands hurt with all that writing. I'd (Linzi) never been to a writing group before and there were some members that took it all pretty seriously. Some had written books.

Once a month there was a competition where the assembled attendees judged the best written piece for the theme. I was extremely pleased by being voted winner of October (2011) and the prize (the same each month) is 'the book' to hold onto for that month and to decorate a chapter how ever one wants. The book is about Shakespear's plays, quite old looking and raggety at the edges. It matters not what the contents as with carte blanch pages are altered or decorated.

I attached sequential letters of the alphabet to the pages of my chapter. Here below are a few.

'The Book' pages E, F, G H
E = eggs, F = friends
G = god goddess
Page of M, N, O, P
M = mummm, muffins
N = beautiful N in silver
O & P =poop
