RV living & Boondocking

When touring in the RV Motorhome we made sure we decorated 'Joy' in ways that feel joyful, or bring a sense of homelyness to the place. We encountered all manner of weather and views from the window.
Bedroom with unmade bed (oops obviously not prepared for photo)
Tibetan prayer flags, quotes and images to brighten our day.
Snowy outside

View from our table/living area. The RV Life magazine
water bottles, road map, flower and a rail car!
Another boondocking overnighter. Rain outside.

One below freezing night enroute through the mid west States
we had no where to plug into for warmth and took our
chances here in snowy car park. It's called Boondocking or
wild camping. If the pipes had frozen
we would have been in dire strates but all was fine.

Typical scenery in our travels through the mid western States
and BC Canada. The Rockies mountain range extends off
into the far distance. Truly a wonder of the natural world.

Banff and Kananaski parks, Alberta

Passed through Banff (July). Popular destination for hikers, hot springs bathers, mountain and snow activists plus tourists from all parts of the globe. So you can imagine it's full of people almost any time of year.

April time and lake fully ice covered

Kananaski Provincial park about an hour from Calgary, April time on a wildlife safari with a Meetup group. Saw a few goats and not much else as too cold/snowy. The wildlife was staying inside. Beautiful scenery, quite cold, snow and ice.
