You can see why I was attracted to these knives, apart from they are 100% Canadian. A handsome and rugged knife needs a handsome and rugged owner... d'naaahhhhh!!!!
Here I am admiring the pretty sharp things. The geeza in the pic arrowed above me is the designer of these odd looking knives. He won a design award in the 60s for his No1 blade (I have the No3 as used by the Canadian Army and is the small bushcraft blade (grohmann). It's a fine knife and feels sooooo comfie, can't wait to use it properly soon.

Dear Mark & Linzi, Finally I took the time to properly look through your Adventure site and read its in and outs -- right up to your November post on your new knife. The hat should be black, dude, for that 'sinister' look. It sounds like you're enjoying yourselves ('bastards!') -- may it last forever.
I like 'Joy', but is your plan to eventually settle somewhere? -- remember, Anne and I are retiring next year, so are relying on you to put us up when we begin our travels and come to Canada :-)
Finally GOT one on EH! The Swindon Staff Social Club folks organised an Arts & Crafts day last Friday afternoon. There was lots of impressive stuff (paintings, photographs, all sorts of fabric work, pottery, jewellery, and even a mosaic of a leaping hare!) They asked yours truly if I would play some flamenco as 'background music'; so I played for about 15-20 mins each hour through the afternoon -- being paid! So why do people say we civi servants are a lazy lot? lol lol lol
