Arrival at our Quality Inn hotel, near Halifax, and our first night celebratory dinner was pizza from across the road. We had wanted a more elegant meal but there was no where except a Tim Hortons (donuts, bagels)
What a delight the hotel was with our room having 2 King size beds, a wide screen TV, a bathroom the size of our kitchen in England, and the pleasure of a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Oh yes and a Bible. Strangely we did not read that.
The hotel was full up due to a Metalica concert, so lots of interesting characters at breakfast time.
